Investment support of the national interests of Russia in the sustainable development of the Far East

At present, the Far East of Russia is experiencing significant socio-economic and demographic problems, including low level and quality of life of the population, insufficient infrastructure development, a shortage of labor in the macroregion. As a stimulating measure aimed at the sustainable development of the Far East regions of Russia, in 2014, a federal law was adopted on the territories of priority socio-economic development (TPD). This project is focused, among other things, on the development of investment cooperation between the Far East and the APR countries. The article shows that to enhance investment inflow in the regions of the Far East it is advisable to develop an official concept for the long-term development of TPD, including conceptual approaches to solving all necessary issues of their creation and functioning, as well as limiting possible risks.
